Biography
Emma Isabel de la Cabada Cortés, professionally known as Isabellar Art, is a Mexican contemporary abstract artist whose work explores the expressive power of atmosphere, light, color, and matter. Rather than depicting landscapes or recognizable forms, she creates immersive visual environments that invite contemplation and emotional connection.
Working primarily with acrylics and mixed media, her paintings emerge through an intuitive process in which texture, movement, and transparency interact to reveal invisible energies and states of transformation. Nature serves as a source of inspiration, not as a subject to reproduce, but as a language through which emotion, memory, and perception are expressed.
Since the end of 2017, she has actively participated in exhibitions and cultural projects in collaboration with the Tijuana Municipal Institute of Art and Culture (IMAC), while continuously expanding her artistic practice through national and international exhibitions.
Her work has received international recognition through awards and selections from organizations and competitions such as Teravarna, the Circle Foundation for the Arts, and Artavita, reflecting the growing international presence of her artistic vision.
Currently, she continues developing a body of work centered on abstraction and atmospheric painting, creating spaces where viewers can experience silence, energy, and transformation through color and light. Her paintings seek not only to be observed, but to be deeply felt..Artiatic name Isabellar Art
